Where and when to see fireworks in MetroWest, Greater Milford
Caroline Bunnell | The MetroWest Daily News | June 26, 2026, 4:45 a.m. ET
Fireworks will light up the skies in several MetroWest and Greater Milford communities in the days surrounding the Fourth of July as the nation commemorates 250 years of independence.
With one notable exception, municipalities throughout the region are planning fireworks shows, concerts, parades and other patriotic festivities.
Absent from this year's calendar is Framingham's Stars & Stripes celebration. City officials canceled the event, which typically includes fireworks over Farm Pond, citing budget constraints and staffing challenges.
