Daily News readers have spoken in voting for the best spot to get ice cream in MetroWest. The good news is that the winner has two locations in the region where you to fill your sweet tooth.

New City Microcreamery, which can be found in Hudson and Sudbury, was the top pick by readers in an online poll sponsored by the Daily News last month. It received a whopping 70% of more than 900 votes cast in topping seven other entries.

New City operates a third shop in Cambridge.

"Being named the best ice cream shop in MetroWest by readers is a significant honor for New City Microcreamery," said Taso Vitsas, New City's marketing director. "It not only reflects the community's appreciation for our unique offerings but also validates the hard work and passion we’ve invested in our craft. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to quality and innovation, and fuels our enthusiasm to continue serving the best ice cream in the world in our Sudbury, Hudson and Cambridge locations."
