ARLINGTON, MA — A new frozen treat business is coming to the former home of a long-time custard company that operated in town for more than a century, according to a report from Boston Restaurant Talk.

New City Microcreamery’s newest location is slated to open on 311 Broadway, which was once the home of Abbott’s Frozen Custard. New City was founded in 2015, and is known for its unique liquid nitrogen process it uses to freeze the cream.

New City also has locations in Cambridge, Sudbury, and Hudson.
